How to select your display monitor
If you have more than one computer monitor, you may want to select only one to display to your participants. To set your display settings, click the Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar. Select "Display." Click "Edit." Then, select which monitor you'd like displayed via the drop down menu, or simply click 1 or 2 for one monitor or the other. Click “Detect” to automatically detect your primary monitor. You may want to confirm that the correct monitor was detected by running a test meeting before your scheduled meeting.
Can I pass control of my screen to a viewer?
Yes, you can pass control of your screen to a participant via the remote control feature. This function allows a viewer to remotely control your screen for you.
To activate this feature, click to view your participant list. Then click the person icon next to the participant you’d like to hand control to.
Can a participant share their screen?
At this time, only the host’s screen can be shared.
Can I hide my desktop background while sharing?
Yes, you can hide your desktop background photo while sharing. Simply click the Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar. Select "Display." Click "Edit." Select the checkmark “Disable Desktop background.” Your desktop will now turn blue when you share your screen.
Please note that any icons or app windows will still be displayed during your meeting.
Can I password-protect my meeting?
You may want to require a password for participants to enter your meeting.
To activate this setting, click the Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar. Select "Customize." Click "Edit." Click the checkmark "Require a password to join the meeting." Then, type the meeting password in the text box and click "Save." Make sure to share your password with your attendees prior to the meeting.
How to use your own audio conference calling service
To use your own telephone system with Web Meeting, click the Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar. Select "Customize." Click "Edit." Click the checkmark "Use my own conference calling service." Enter your own dial-in information in the text box and click save. This dial-in information will now be shared with anyone you invite to your meeting.
How to adjust screen share quality
To adjust the quality of your screen share, click the Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar. Select "Display." Click "Edit." High Definition (HD) will be selected by default for best performance. If you experience a poor broadband connection, you can select “Good” to reduce the bandwidth used by Web Meeting.
